FAQs

  • Payment is due at the time of service. Most visits will be charged a call fee and are then based on time and medications used during the visit. We prefer cash or check, but can accept a credit card for a small fee.

  • When scheduling, we will provide the general time of day (morning or afternoon), and the day of the appointment we will update with a more specific time when she is headed your way.

Reminder, days rarely go exactly as planned; so please try to be flexible and we will do our part to keep you updated on our progress.

  • As long as a veterinary client patient relationship (VCPR) has been established, the veterinarian will administer medications at her discretion to each farm depending on size, need, and availability.

  • A VCPR is the relationship that a veterinarian has with a farm, which includes familiarity with the farm’s animals and management.

For the purposes of Medley Veterinary Services, we require that the vet has been physically on the farm at least once per year to validate this relationship.

  • For emergencies, please call us at 724-372-6203 and leave a message. Email, text message, or Facebook message are not appropriate ways to convey an emergency.

We will return your call and schedule a visit based on the urgency of the issue and availability of the veterinarian.
